The Story Behind GorillaGuard.
Hi, I’m Dave, owner and founder of GorillaGuard Pest Control.
I grew up in my family’s heating and air conditioning business, working closely with my Dad. He was an HVAC Master and had a huge impact on who I am today. In my twenties, I worked with my Dad and brother-in-law building houses, which taught me more about the home construction business. By 30, I was operating as the owner of a home remodeling company. Real estate naturally came next.
In early 2003, I became a Realtor and remain licensed today, although I no longer practice. Successful sales were only part of the job. My reputation and the way I treated people, including fellow Realtors, mattered just as much. Those values remain important to me today.
That experience gave me a valuable perspective that carried over when I started GorillaGuard. Seeing how home inspections, real estate and pest control intersect helped me streamline our process. I have always tried to do the right thing and genuinely help people, and that is how I continue to run the company today.
